Jenny Lewis

After gaining prominence in the ‘80s as a child actress, appearing in over a dozen teen movies including Troop Beverly Hills and The Wizard, Lewis went on to pursue music and formed indie rock Band Rilo Kiley in 1995. Their 2004 album More Adventurous with song “Portions for Foxes” found widespread success. They opened for Coldplay on their 2005 U.S. tour. Through the years, she has recorded with The Postal Service, Elvis Costello, Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes, M. Ward, Maroon 5 guitarist James Valentine, Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie and Vampire Weekend. Lewis was given an “Esky” for Best Temperature Raiser in Esquire’s 2006 Esky Music Awards. Songs include Silver Lining and Portions for Foxes, She played sold out shows at Gruene Hall in 2014 and 2018.
