Pittsburg, TX

Los Pinos Ranch strives to make the best wines possible from grapes grown in their in their estate vineyards, as well as from three vineyards in west Texas.

There are two varietals planted on their estate vineyards, Blanc Du Bois and Black Spanish. These varieties grow well in east Texas, as they are resistant to disease pressures that are inherent in our region, and are made into dry, semi-sweet and sweet wines.

Their West Texas Vineyards are located in one of the best wine grape growing regions in the State, and has been designated as the Texas High Plains AVA. It has been discovered, that this Texas AVA has perfect growing conditions for Italian wine grape varietals. Los Pinos has planted successful varietals of Sangiovese, Muscat Canelli and Vermentino.
